Genom att använda spillvärme från ett närliggande pappersbruk banar projektet väg för hållbar livsmedelsproduktion i Sverige. Utvecklare av projektet är bolaget WA3RM, som är specialiserat inom cirkularitet och användning av industriella restströmmar. Längs vägen har bolaget tagit hjälp av Vinga Corporate Finance, vars finansieringslösningar spelat en viktig roll för att göra projektet möjligt.
Regenergy Frövi AB utilizes industrial waste heat to produce vegetables in the largest greenhouse in the Nordics. Vinga Group has structured and raised approx. SEK 600 million for Regenergy Frövi, contributing to the construction and development of the landmark project. On Tuesday, Regenergy Frövi announced a EUR 89 million debt investment and refinancing from Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
Vinga Group has signed an agreement with its existing client WA3RM for a long-term financing partnership. The agreement covers the future financing of WA3RM’s upcoming projects, including two large-scale greenhouse initiatives in Scandinavia, with a total financing framework of up to SEK 11.5 billion.
