In case you missed it, the Swedish Riksbank recently announced that its policy rate is being lowered for the first time in more than eight years. As of yesterday, May 15, the rate is 3.75 percent which means a reduction of 25 basis points.
In connection with the rate decision, Stefan Westfeldt, Vinga’s Head of Asset Management, commented on the rate cuts in Swedish media.
