The Swedish central bank lowers its policy rate by 50 basis points.
"The decision to continue cutting is right. However, I would have preferred a more cautious 25 point cut. Inflation is still too high in the US and the Eurozone, and the krona is already significantly weakened. Additionally, Trump's upcoming policies are inflationary, and households will receive tax cuts equivalent to 30 billion SEK next year", says Stefan Westfeldt, Vinga's Head of Asset Management.
