The Swedish Riksbank lowers its policy rate by 25 basis points to 3.50% and signals further cuts
Regarding today's rate decision, Stefan Westfeldt, Vinga's Head of Asset Management, commented in Swedish media:
"It was expected with a 25 basis point cut. A 50 basis point cut could weaken the krona again, which is inflationary. Now the Riksbank can wait for the Federal Reserve and the ECB, which are likely to cut by 25 basis points in September, and then cut again afterwards."
